Arm Wrestling Contest On March 29 Who's got the strongest arm in Hoke County? Hoke County Parks and Recreation Commission will be sponsoring an Arm Wrestling Contest to determine who does have the strongest right or left arm! The contest will be held at the Gibson Gym on Monday, March 29, at 7 p.m. In order to compete you must fill in the registration blank below and return to the Parks and Recreation office prior to 5 p.m. on Wednesday, March 24. The contest will be a double elimination tourney with the following weight divisions: Right handed Left handed 0-135 0-176 136-150 177-up 151-165 166-185 186-200 201-220 There must be at least four participants per division before a trophy will be awarded. The winner in each division will receive a trophy. There is a $1 .00 entry fee per participant. Each partici pant will be weighed prior to the start of the competition. No cheating! There were such activities as Mr. Irresistible Day. Mix-match Day. and Western Day. Then on Friday the Homecoming activities were held in the Lumber ton Recreation Center. Both the girls' varsity basketball team and the Boys Varsity Basketball team competed. The visiting team was * Wallace O'Neal. To cap the action, the Aggressors downed the Hide-Aways 15-4. and 15-5. Delisa and Krystal Lunsford along with Joy Hottel led the attack by the Aggressors.
