Steve Phillips, Social Reporter, 875-4171 Zechman-Peed Wedding Vows Pledged I n Outdoor Ceremony Miss Sandee Patrice Peed and Harry Raymond Zechman III were married Saturday, June 5 at 5:30 p.m. on the wooded acreage of Phil and Dawn Rogge, Raeford. Given in marriage by her brother, Ronald Peed, the bnde wore a gown of white organza and chantilly lace trimmed in re-embroidered Rachele lace. The bodice of the ? gown was fitted and of chantilly lace. The neckline was of Rachele lace and pearl trim in a Queen Anne design. The split Bishop sleeve had an undersleeve of chan tilly and a top sleeve of organza appliqued with Rachele. Her chapel train was edged in Rachele and the Peplum of Chantilly trimmed in Rachele. The designer gown was completed by a fingertip ^ veil of illusion with Rachele lace P trim. Rays of sun through the trees added a warm touch to the setting of beautiful flowers adorning the wedding march and lining the aisle as guests gathered for the occasion. Prenuptial music and the Bridal March pretaped by the bride's mother added a personal note of happiness for the bride. The atten dants and groom entered to the vibrant Peaches and Herb selection P "I Pledge My Love.' Sound control was handled by Johnny Turlington. Matron-of-Honor for the occa sion was Ms. Evelyn Goodpasture of Fayetteville. Other attendants were Mrs. Brenda Hobson Turling ton of Coats and Flower Girl, Miss Wendy Peed of Cary. They wore formal gowns of lavendar organza, and carried silk orchids. Best Man was Billy Weber of ft Michigan. Ushers were Jimmy Walker of Raeford and Ron Peed of Cary. Men were attired in champagne tuxedos. Ring Bearer was Master Brian Stec of Raeford wearing a dark navy suit. The ceremony, written by the bride, was effectively delivered by family friend and minister of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church, Joe B. Zimmerman. Toward the close of the ceremony, the bride sang a | selection from the Sound of Music, ? 'Something Good,' to her new husband. Following the processional, a stirring Trumpets Voluntary rendi tion by Neal Padgett of Garner was played. The wedding party and guests left for the airfield at Raeford airport, where the groom and five others participated in a Tuxedo jump, binding themselves ^ by threes as they left the plane. The W groom, wearing a white tuxedo, drew applause from an appreciative crowd as he landed on his feet in the middle of the drop zone, gaining a kiss from the bride. Following the jump, a reception was held in the airport restaurant. The table was adorned with laven dar bells and candles. Center attraction was a white spiral cake, separated by Grecian columns and ^ topped with an unusual combina " tion of bride and groom and a second section of white doves, both contained in a gazebo effect. Flowing from the second section of the cake were two gothic bridges each leading to another part of the cake. Figures representing the wedding party were placed on the bridges. The punch was lavendar pineapple sherbet, and homemade ^ nuts and lavendar mints comple ? mented the chicken salad sand wiches and sausage balls. Complet ing the table were slices of water melon and a beautifully prepared melon basket containing a variety of fruits.
