Hendrix, Sr. The funeral for James Robert Hendrix, Sr., were conducted Monday morning in Raeford United Methodist Church by the Rev. Arthur Winstead, the pastor. Burial was in Highland Biblical Gardens. Mr. Hendrix died Saturday in ? Moore Memorial Hospital. He was ? 85. Surviving are his sons. Lacy Hendrix, James Robert Hendrix, and Fred, Sam and Earl Hendrix of Raeford; his brothers, Dewey, Wilmer and Brown Hendrix of Raeford; 13 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Crumpler Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements. f Mr*. Dorothy Mabe Mrs. Dorothy Jean Mabe, 49, Rt. 3, Fayetteville, died September 14. The funeral was conducted Thursday in Hamilton-Porter Fun eral Home by the Rev. Wes Crebb. Burial was in Parkton Cemetery. Mrs. Mabe is survived by her husband, Cecil Mabe; her sons, ?. Cecil D. Mabe of Dallas Tex., and Tony A. Solid Rock Fall Revival October 4-8 The Fall Revival of Solid Rock Holiness Church will be held October 4-8. The speaker will be Elder Clay ton Jones of Bluefteld, Va. The services will start at 7:30 p.m. daily. Members of other churches, choirs and congregations will be guests each night. Solid Rock Holiness's pastor is Eldress Eloise Campbell. Evangelist Rosie Stephenson will be rendering service at Solid Rock Holiness at II a.m. October 10. The program is being sponsored by the Usher Board. Yard Sale The West Hoke Fire Department will hold a Yard Sale Saturday starting at 8:30 a.m. on Turnpike Road and Timberland Stretch. No closing time is scheduled. Adjustment Group T o Meet The bimonthly Adjustment Group, which helps people whose loved ones died adjust to their situations will be held Monday at 7:30 p.m. at Wayside Community House. The bereaved people at the meetings share their concerns with others who truly understand. At Monday's meeting. Part Two of the Film "When Disaster Strikes: Grief and Bereavement" will be shown.
