The Hoke High Bucks are re grouping and rethinking after last Friday's loss to Teiry Sanford 33-0. "We think that we have been trying to accomplish some things that we weren't physically able to do," Coach Tom Jones said. Following the Friday night shut out, Buck coaches went through the teams game plans and threw out anything that was questionable, Jones said. "Now we are working with things that we can do," he said. The one and three Bucks are going to have a hard task Friday night as they face possibly their toughest opponent of the season, Scotland County. "They have a solid defense and a good offensive line," Jones said, noting that the Scots remind him of 71st High School. Jones was disappointed with the Bucks performance against the Terry Sanford Bulldogs. The Hoke County team did not play as well as they did the week before against Richmond. Rich mond has a far better club, the | coach said. "Our players are not going to give up," he added. Terry Sanford ended its season long victory drought defeating the Bucks 33-0 for its first victory of the year in the conference opener for both teams. Junior tailback Kevin Moser provided much of the firepower for j the Bulldogs, rushing for 166 yards * on 28 carries and one touchdown. Moser ran for 123 yards in the first half as the Bulldogs built a 21-0 lead.
