Shack in Spring Lake, is telling Upchurch Junior High School students
about the big, flop-eared rabbit he is holding. He came October 6 with his
rabbit, a prairie dog. . a kinkajou [honey bear], a lizard, two snakes
[including a boa constrictor ). a ferret, and a tarantula, all from his shop, to
tell students of science teachers Gloria Kuhns and Sheryl Malone about the
life and habbits of each. The photographer tried to get a picture of Fatso,
the prairie dog. but Fatso was moving around and came out blurry, then
ran off and hid under a chair in the back of the room till he was retrieved
before the program ended. The three students at the left are being
entertained by the parrot.
