Boy Scout Troop 404 's float placed third in the Raeford Junior Woman 's
Club contest Saturday. Members of the troop are shown with Scoutmaster

Winner: Raeford Salvage Co. 's float was named the best in Saturday's
Christmas parade by the judges of the contest-sponsoring Raeford Junior
Woman 's Club. Clayton Bouyer, the company manager, is shown on the
float with E. T. and companion.
Honorable Mention was awarded the Raeford Shriners' Hillbilly float in
the Christmas parade contest sponsored by the Raeford Junior Woman 's
Club. The 'hillbillies' in the picture are, L-R, Jim Attaway, Mrs. Betty
(E.B.) Nixon, Bryan Manning, E.B. and daughter Barbie Nixon.
