Share Your
Christmas
Bv Sherry Matthews
Over SI 500.00 was collected and
spent on some 180 families this
Christmas through the help of The
Woman's Club of Raeford and
their Share Your Christmas pro
ject.
At their last meeting, the dub
members mulled over the upcom
ing decision of w hether to continue
supporting the program alone or
seek hdp from other sources.
"The under-taking is far too
large for one group, and we are
hoping for a year-round organisa
tion that will concern itsdf with
this project alone.** said a
spokeswoman for the group.
The Woman's Club of Raetord
will vote at its next meeting on
whether it wishes to continue to
support this project.
The Share Your Christmas pro
ject's money went this past
Christmas to supplying toys,
books, fruit, sugar and children's
clothes to the needy in the com
munity.
