Seniors Awarded Scholarships Two Hoke High Seniors have been awarded the Sailie Souihall Cotten Scholarships from the Raeford Woman's Club and Raeford Jr. Woman's Club. Chau Tran. son of Cue Huynh, was awarded the local scholarship from the Jr. Woman's Club. Chau is an outstanding academic student and is a member of the French Club, Science Club, National Honor Society, Tennis Team, Quiz Bowl Team and honor roll. Last year he received the Chemistry Award for the student wilh the highest averse Chau plans to attend M State University and major in engineer ing. Carta Myers, daughter of Mrs Kay Myers and Chartes Myers was awarded the local scholarship from the Raeford Woman's Club Carta is an outstanding academic student and is a member of the band and cotorguard. French club, honor roll, cheerleader. Youth Council. Juaiorette. and Senior Highs. She plans 10 attend Pact Col lege. BoU> Chaw and Carta will par ttcipate in the district contest.
