Development Block Grant - Com
munity Revitalization for the Divi
sion of Community Assistance,
North Carolina Department of
Natural Resources and Communi
ty Development's program. Ap
plications must be developed and
submitted to the Division of Com
munity Assistance by April 16,
1984 to be considered for funding
consideration.
The Community Development
Block Grant - Community
Revitalization Program permits a
wide range of community
revitalization activities to occur in
cluding acquisition, construction
of public works, code enforce
ment, clearance, housing
rehabilitation, planning activities,
administration, etc. Applications
for Community Reviudization
must show that in excess of fifty
percent of Community Develop
ment Block Grant funds will
benefit low-moderate income
persons.
The City of Raeford will con
duct a Public Hearing, March 5,
1984, at 7:00 p.m. in the City of
Raeford's Municipal Building. The
purpose of this Hearing is to ob
tain citizen input into the iden
tification of community revitaliza
tion needs and desired community
revitalization activities. The input
from this meeting will be incor
