Darlene Clark's fourth grade students visited the Hoke County Public
Library last Wednesday morning to do research for the " Facts Pacs" that
they are working on for a special project. Elizabeth Burgess, county
librarian, instructed the students in the use of the card catalog, reference
books, vertical file materials, and periodicals. The students were able to
find many excellent sources that will aid them in the production of the
"Facts Pac'\ ? Teachers and students are encouraged to use the public
library as a resource. The library staff will be delighted to assist students in
their research efforts. Darlene Clark and her students are from South
Hoke Elementary School.
