Austin Insurance Agency. In November of 1965, Teal took over as managing officer and presi dent of Raeford Savings and Loan and served in that position until January 1982, when the institution was merged with Heritage. Under Heritage, which has its home office in Monroe, Teal has served as branch manager and vice president. His resignation is expected to become effective prior to June, Teal said. "I'm leaving a good job with good customers and staff members who have given me strong support over the years," Teal said. "Everyone's help has meant a lot to me," he added.
