May 12. Entertain ment, which includes musi cians. dancers, food and games for everyone, will be "non stop" from noon until 5 p m. on May 10 and from II a m until 6 p.m. May II and 12. The festival highlights the first commercial crawfish harvest. Crawfish, prepared in a variety of ways, will be served throughout the festival. (This is a change from the previously announced date of May 10). Junior Women hold banquet Raeford Junior Woman's Club held its annual year-end banquet, May 5, at the Holiday Inn in Fayetteville. Members and their husbands gathered in the Galleria for a social hour before being seated for the four course meal. Immediately following the din ner, President Mrs. Robert Britt installed the officers for the 1984-1986 term. Candles symbolizing the new of fice were ignited as each officer was charged with her new duties. Installed as president was Mrs. Boyce Falls; first vice president. Linda Stanton; second vice presi dent, Betty Odom; secretary. Mrs. Bob Fisher, and treasurer. Mrs. Walter Barnhill. Absent was historian, Mrs. Gordon Myers. After being installed, Mrs. Falls presented Mrs. Britt with a silver tray, on behalf of the club, in recognition of her devoted leader ship of the organization during the years 1981-1984 Special awards were presented by Mrs. Dale Stec. Receiving the Citizenship Award was Miss Betty Odom. Mrs. Larry Lippard was honored with the Clubwoman of the Year award. Hollingsworth is a 1979 graduate of Hoke County High School and is also enrolled at Fayetteville Technical Institute. The couple has selected July 14 as a wedding date. Rowenia Delica Leggelt Leggett - Sinclair Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth G. An drews of Raeford, announce the engagement of their daughter, Rowenia Delica Leggett, to Vin cent Alford Sinclair, of Red Springs. The bride-elect is a graduate of Hoke County High School. She is presently employed by Hardee's in Raeford. Sinclair is a graduate of Red Springs High School. He is now employed by Fire Place and Stone Center of Raeford. A wedding is planned for June 9 at McLaughlin Chapel A.M.E. Zion Church in Raeford. Bridge Mrs McFadyen Mrs. Neill McFadyen Jr. was hostess to members of her bridge club and visitors, Mrs. Julian Butler and Mrs. John Scott Poole, on May 3. Dessert and iced tea were served when guests arrived. During pro gressions, candies and soft drinks were served. The club high score prize was won by Mrs. Bobby Gibson and Mrs. Poole took visitor's high score. Mrs. Martin Webb won the floating prize, Mrs. Bennie McLeod was awarded the low score prize and Mrs. William Niven won the bingo award.
