Pet adoption inducements being offered In an attempt to get more animals adopted from the Raeford/Hoke Animal Shelter, the ; Raeford Clinic is offering some : special rates for routine animal care. j Dr. Russel Tate is offering the special prices. When a pet is adopted the j Humane Society will issue a cer- ! tificate saying the animal came . from the shelter. One must only present this cer- ] tificate to the clinic to receive the special rates. The animal will receive a distemper shot and worming free and will get a reduced rate on rabies shots. A fee of $34 will be charged for spaying female dogs; S18 will be charged for nuetering male dogs. It will cost SI 8 for females and; S12 for males to have the sterility operations performed on cats. (Bill) Carver joined the Burlington Menswear Dye ing Plant on June 25 as a Management Manufacturing Trainee. He is a native of Durham and is a graduate of North Carolina State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics. Ellis accepts Texas post Barry Ellis, son of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Ellis of Raeford, has ac cepted a position as Advertis ing/Marketing Manager with the Northcross Mall in Austin, Texas. Northcross is owned by the Rouse Co., a real estate and mall development company. Ellis was previously employed as manager of Manalapan Mall, Manalapan, New Jersey with Jacobs, Visconsi and Jacobs.
