FRUIT CAKE COOKIES '/i cup butter ; 2 cups brown sugar 3 eggs well beaten r 1 teaspoon vanilla VI teaspoon soda 1 tablespoon brandy flavoring 1 lb. white raisins 4 cups pecans 3 slices candied pineapple 8 oz. candied cherries 2'/i cups plain flour I Dissolve soda with flavoring and vanilla, cream butter and sugar, add eggs and salt. Mix nuts, raisins, pineapple and cherries with flour. Fold in ingredients and bake for 10 minutes at 350*. For large parties, store ice and cool canned drinks in the washing machine.
