and Tuesday. There will be no
trash pick-up on Wednesday or

be picked up on Friday. City

On Christmas tour
This dining room In Mr. and Mrs. Luke McNeill's
home on Main Street will be on the Raeford Junior
Woman 's Christmas Tour. Other parts of the house

The Main Street home of Mr.
and Mrs. Luke McNeill is to be
open for the December 2 Junior
Women's Club House Tour and
Craft Show.
The McNeill's home was com
pleted in 1960. Its furnishings are
primarily 18th century styles. It
has a Williamsburg influence.
Mrs. McNeill's needlework
highlights the home. She creates
needlepoint and cross-stitch pic
tures and pillows. Her Christmas
tree will be decorated with cross
stitch ornaments.
During the afternoon, while
homes are open for visitors, crafts
man will be showing their work at
the Civic Center on College Drive.
The Rev. Wayne Ham is a
minister with Synder Memorial
Baptist Church in Fayetteville and
he creates paper punch lamp
shades. He has been making them
for about three years and his work
is selling as far away as Oklahoma.
His lampshades are one-of-a-kind
and he sometimes uses water
colors.
Mereille Green will have her
knitting machine at the craft fair.
She will show how quickly a knit
ter can make a sweater. Mrs.
Green is going to be demonstrating
and taking orders for her machine.
Melinda Smith of Raeford will
be showing her fabric art. Her fine
work was displayed last year at
Hoke Heritage Hobnob. Mrs.
Smith has many fine examples of
her crafts for sale.
In addition, the first 100 tour
goers will receive a complimentary
gift furnished by Faberge Inc.
