It was up and in fbr two. In that game, the Bucks took Cape Fear 64-57. The Buck's Tony McRae walked away from the game with 23 points, more than anyone else scored that night. Free throws hurt Bucks Greg Killingsworth is a little concerned about the way his Hoke High Buck Varsity Basketball team is not hitting from the free throw line. Faulty free throw shooting is what lost the first game against South View in overtime, 52-50. Last Friday night the Bucks were in action again against South View and this time, the outcome was dif ferent. The Bucks, led by Elgin Blue, walked on them 71-57, according to Killingsworth. Although the team was short four men, the Bucks played a fine game. "Elgin Blue has been the dif ference for us," said the coach. Blue has been leading the of fense up and down the court in a new style of full court play that is wearing out opponents. "We shot well from the outside," Killingsworth said add ing that the team hit 59% from the floor. "We took it in to our big boys," he said. The team had four players in double figures. In action last week, the Bucks beat Cape Fear 64-57. Tony McRae walked away from that game with 23 points while Marvin Maynor hit for "17.
