workshop for an update on
Federal and State Laws on Special
Education.
Public Law 94-142, The Creech
Bill, Evaluation/Testing, Least
Restrictive Setting and other
related areas are on the agenda.
The guest speaker will be A1
Singer, an attorney with the
Developmental Disabilities Train
ing Institute at the University of
North Carolina and the parent of a
handicapped child.
The workshop is sponsored by
ACCEPT (Advocacy Center for
Children's Education and Parent
Training), Hoke County
Children's Center and Hoke Coun
ty Programs for Exceptional
Children.
The meeting will be held Tues
day, Janmuary 8, at Raeford City
Hall, 315 North Main Street, from
7 to 9 p.m.
