L ? 4 Completes 25 years Ted W. Smith recently com pleted 25 years of unbroken ser vice at the Raeford Plant of Burlington Industries. Mr. Smith began work with the local firm as Grader In the Cloth Room Department and has since been promoted several times. He presently works In the Cloth Room as a shift Super visor. In recognition of his ser vice, he was presented a dia mond pin, 25 years certificate and gift by Plant Management. Dean's List James Anthony Clark of Rt. 4 Raeford has been named to the fall 1984 Dean's list at Wingate Col lege. To be eligible a student must have earned a 3.3 grade points average (g.p.a.) on a 4.0 g.p.a. scale on at least 12 academic hours, with no grade below a C (2.0) ? ? ? Susan Ashley Jones of East Donaldson Avenue in Raeford has been named to the fall semester 1984 Dean's List, at the Univeristy of North Carolina at Wilmington. Studaats 12-14 hours must earn a QPA of 3.5 or better with no grade less than B. Students IS & up must earn a QPA of 3.2 Or better with Wo' grade less than B. ? ? ? Charles Frederick Diehl, who is the son of Phillip A. Diehl of Raeford and a history major, was named to the Elon College Dean's List for the 1984 fall semester. A total of 290 students earned placement on the academic dean's list which names those who made no grade below a "B" in all course work during the semester. Of this number, 53 students earned the honor of making "A" list, indicating they made all A's in their work. ? * * Two Raeford residents were among 1 57 students who made the Dean's List at Pembroke State University during the fall semester, it has been announced by Chancellor Paul R. Givens. A grade point average of 3.6 for a minimum of 12 semester hours is required to make the Dean's List.
