Snake handler delights students By Elizabeth Bergen Dr. Floyd Waddle from Fayet tevilk State University entertained some of our pre-school children with aerogram about snakes. Dr. Waddle brought with him several different kinds of snakes to show the children. They were told many interesting facts about snakes and how to handle them. Those children wanting to han dle the snakes had an opportunity to do so. Dr. Waddle was certainly an in teresting and entertaining gentleman. Luke McNeill video taped the program for the library. We thank McNeill for doing this for the library. He is always so gracious to tape our programs for us and we do appreciate his giving the library his time and talent. Jane Witherspoon, Letetia Con oly, and Julie Conoly have had displays in the library for the last two weeks. We thank Jane for sharing some heirlooms handed down through family ties. We thank Letetia and Julie for sharing Library News their ceramic work with the com munity. Anyone interested in hav ing a display in the library, please call 875-2502. We will be happy to arrange a time for you. The Dial-a-Story is a marvelous success. We average 93 calls a day (and night) and that is wonderful. The stories change daily - the magic number -to call is 875-2039.
