The Chamber donated the unit to the library last week to help expand video offerings. Chamber donates video unit By Elizabeth Burgess The Hoke County Public Library received a wonderful Valentine's Day present from the Raeford-Hoke Chamber of Com merce. Steve Parker presented an idea to the Chamber of Commerce, and it was approved. , Steve delivered to the library a new VHS video recorder. The library staff is thrilled to receive the recorder, and we thank the members of the Raeford-Hoke Chamber of Commerce for being so generous to the library. I know that the VHS recorder will be enjoyed by library users for many years to come. The library has been privileged to have on display items from the Hoke County School High School Vocational Department. We thank Harold Gillis, Wanda McPhaul, Arthur Kemp, Sally Young, Charlie Parsons, Martha Fraize, and all the vocational teachers and students for allowing the library to display the items.
