Survivors are four sons: Neil Angus McNeill of Atlanta, Oeorgia; Duncan Lacy McNeill of Raeford; William Jessie McNeill of Raeford and James Michael McNeill of Raeford; one daughter: Mrs. Mary Janet DeSist of Raeford; three brothers: Lewis McFadyen of Red Springs; D.B. McFadyen of Raeford and Angus McFadyen of Raeford; six sisters: Mrs. Francis McCreery of Chagrin Falls, Ohio; Mrs. Sarah Alligood of Fayetteville; Miss Isabel McFadyen of Raeford; Miss Betty McFadyen of Raeford; Mrs. Jessie Hubbard of Raeford and Mrs. Will* Lindsay of Fayetteville and six grandsons. Funeral Services were held at 4 p.m. Tuesday at the Ephesus Bap tist Church by Rev. William Gregg. Burial was in the McGougan Family Cemetery in Lumber bridge. Survivors are two sons: Minor H. McGougan of St. Pauls and Edgar McGougan of Raeford; two daughters: Mrs. Lois M. Capps of Gilmer, Texas and Mrs. Flozella Clardy of Winston Salem; one sister: Mrs. Leona Chason of Raeford; six step sons: Jim Max well of Raeford; Eugene Maxwell of Raeford; Henry R. Maxwell of St. Louis, Missouri; Bob Maxwell of Charleston, South Carolina and Malcolm Maxwell of Greenville; three step daughters: Mrs. Marion Clark of Raeford; Mrs. Grace Mclntyre of Lumberton and Mrs. Geraldine Adams of Lumberton; six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. The family was served by Crumpler Funeral Home. Paaliae Schwab Mrs. Pauline Schwab, 82, died Friday morning at Moore Memorial Hospital in Pinehurst. Graveside services were held at 4 p.m. Sunday at the Raeford Cemetery by Rev. Dr. John Ropp. Survivors are one son: Major James R. Attaway of Raeford; one daughter: Mrs. Barbara J. Levitz of Hialeah, Florida; three brothers: John T. Attaway, Sr. of Phoenix City, Alabama, Roy Hampton Attaway of Key Largo, Florida; Vonnie R. Attaway of Columbus, Georgia; one sister: Mrs. Ruth Grimes of Columbus; Georgia; and seven grandchildren. The family was at Crumpler Funeral Home Saturday evening. Contributions may be made to the Raeford Presbyterian Church. Bertha A. Tapp Mrs. Bertha A. Tapp, 77, died Monday morning at Southeastern General Hospital in Lumberton. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Crumpler Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Billy Beaver. Burial will be in Raeford Cemetery. Survivors are nieces and nephews. The family was served by Crumpler Funeral Home. Sarah Margaret Chason Miss Sarah Margaret Chason, 83, died Sunday evening in Open Arms Rest Home. Funeral Services were held at 3 p.m. Tuesday at the Raeford Fust Baptist Church by Rev. Billy Beaver. Burial was in Chason family cemetery. Survivors are: one brother: David Chason of Raleigh; five sisters: Mrs. Myrtle Sappenfleld of Raeford, Mrs. Vernon Russell of Raeford, Mrs. Charleen Britt of Raeford, Mrs. Cleo Haywood of Cander and Mrs. Christine Delaney of Aldelphi, Maryland. The family was assisted by Crumpler Funeral Home. Tommie Gibson Tommie Gibson, 75, died Tues day, March 5, in Cape Fear Valley Hospital. Funeral Services were graveside at Highland Biblical Gardens at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 7. Survivors are his wife: Mrs. Nora Gibson of Lumber Bridge; one son: John Marion of Lumber Bridge; one daughter: Mrs. Mary Gibson Kersey of St. Pauls; one brother: Mr. Fred Gib son of St. Pauls and two sisters: Mrs. Gladys Poole of Hamlet and Mrs. Cedas McDonald of Shelby. The family, ws served by Crumpler Funeral Home. Robert Lee Stabbs A 66-year-old Greensboro man, Robert Lee Stubbs, died Monday at Moses Cone Hospital in Greensboro. Stubbs was originally from Marlboro County, South Carolina. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at United Institu tional Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Lake View Memorial Park in Greensboro. Arrangements were made by Perry J. Brown Funeral Home. Stubbs is survived by his wife, Ella D. Stubbs; three sons, Robert L. Stubbs Jr, Donell Stubbs, and Charles Stubbs, all of Greensboro; four daughters, Sallie Smith, Marilyn Patrick, Bonzell Stubbs and Charlene Patterson; one son in-law, Larry Patterson, all of Greensboro; three brothers, Clarence Stubbs and the Rev. Mack Stubbs, both of Fayetteville and Team Stubbs of Raeford; three sisters, Daisy B. Rivers of Washington D.C., Lena Fitzgerald of Brooklin, New York and Mary L. Davis of Greensboro; seven grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Agaes Sinclair Goiwfeh A Durham woman, Agnes Goswich, died at the age of 91 on March 2. The funeral was held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Hall-Wayne Funeral Home. Burial followed at Maplewood Cemetery. Goswich, the daughter of the late Alexander and Mollie Cameron Sinclair, was born and raised in Hoke County. She is survived by two sons, Dr. Claude B. Goswich Jr of Bryan, Texas and C. Band concert planned March 19 In an effort to increase needed membership, the Hoke Music Booster .Club will sponsor a membership concert Tuesday, March 19 at 7:30 p.m. at Hoke County High School. Performing various musical selections will be the seventh and eighth grade band from Upchurch, the Upchurch Chorus, the Hoke High Chorus and Chorale, and the freshman and senior concert bands. Directors will be Gil Clark, Ellen Heidenreich, Anne Dorsey and Jimmy James, band and chorus teachers at Upchurch and Hoke High School.
