HOKE COUNTY COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
BLOCK GRANT APPLICATION
Hoke Count/ will conduct a public hearing on
Monday, April 15, 1966, at 7:30 p.m. In the Com
missioner's Room of the Prett Building in Raeford.
The purpose of this hearing la to eolicit comments
on the County's Draft 1966 Community Develop
ment Grant Application.
The draft application requests approximately
$725,000 from the North Carolina Department of
Natural Resources and Community Development
to be uaed for the revltalizatlon of the Tylertown
area north of Reeford. Proposed actlvitiee Include
rehabilitation of private houeee, clearance,
household relocation, and street improvements.
All Intereeted citizens are invited to attend.
Following the hearing tha County Commissioners
wUI consider formal authorisation to submit the
application to the State of North Carolina.
