Amy Strother, daughter of Leland and Judy Strother, will leave Raeford on June 11 for surgery that will fuse her spine. The Strothers have insurance but it will not cover all the bills, friends say. Anyone wishing to help Amy and her parents may make checks payable to the Amy Strother Fund and deliver them to Manning and Associates or to the United Carolina Bank of Raeford to Peggy Summers.
