Raeford students
honored at Peace
Two Raeford residents are
among the 93 students on the
spring semester Dean's List at
Peace College.
They are Jodi Lynn Freeze,
daughter of Mrs. Oleta K. Lopez
of Ruby Street, Raeford, and
Mack L. Freeze of New Bern; and
Carla June Myers, daughter of
Mrs. Kay B. Myers of S. Bethel
Road, Raeford, and C. Stuart
Myers of Altavista, Virginia.
Both students graduated from
Peace on May 11.
Miss Freeze is one of 17 Peace
students who made all A's, a
perfect 4.0.
To be eligible for the general
Dean's List a student must main-;
tain a grade-point average of 3.30:
out of a possible 4.0, receive pass-s
ing grade in all subjects and carry
at least 12 hours of course work.
Peace is a two-year college for
women offering associate degrees
in liberal arts, business and music.
