Classified Ads 'One year given for stolen goods r- Following a conviction for possession of stolen goods in a re cent session of Hoke County District Court, a Raeford man was sentenced to one year in prison by Judge Wan-en Pate. A warrant was issued for the man's arrest on June 19, records s?y. Ronald Clarence Morrisey was accused of having a lawn tractor belonging to a Bobby Smith, records say. In other court action, a Hope Mills man, Eric Lynn Mc Broom, 24, has appealed a 90-day jail term given him after he was convicted of driving while impaired (DWI) and driving while his license was re voked. Arrested on May 11, the man was sentenced to two years suspended for three years on special supervised probation, the jail term and a $500 fine, records say. Andrew Junior Bethune, another Hope Mills man, was sentenced to 30 days in jail in addi tion to three years special supervised probation and a $500 fine after being convicted of DWI and resisting an officer. Bethune, 33, was arrested and charged on April 28, records show. Furman Lee McNeill, a Pem broke man, was sentenced to 21 days in jail, three years on special supervised probation and fined $500 after being convicted of DWI for the second time and driving with his license revoked, records say. The 49-year-old man was ar rested on March 31, according to records. Dan Van Armstrong, a Raeford resident, was given a 14 day jail term after being convicted of his second DWI offense, records say. The man was arrested on June 26. Armstrong, 45, was given a two year suspended sentence and three years on special supervised proba tion, records say. Alan Colburn, an Aberdeen man, 22, was sentenced to three days in jail and fined $500 after be ing convicted of driving with his license revoked, records say. The man was arrested on June 8, according to records. Lonnie Lee Barnes, of Raeford was also sentenced to three days in jail after being convicted of DWI and failing to stop for a stop sign. The man was also placed on un supervised probation for three years and fined $300, records say. Mark Gilbert Britton, of Ft. Bragg, was sentenced to 60 days suspended for one year on un supervised probation and a $100 fine after being convicted of DWI, records say. The 31 -year-old man was ar rested on May 21, records say. Fred Henderson, a Maxton resi dent, was sentenced to 120 days in jail suspended for one year un supervised probation and a $200 fine after being convicted of DWI without a license, records say. The 39-year-old man was ar rested on June 8, according to records. Sandy Locklear, a 79-year-old Red Springs woman, was con victed last week of selling bootleg liquor, according to records. The woman was arrested on May 24, records show. She was sentenced to no less than six and no more than nine months suspended for five years unsupervised probation, records say. Jerry Bratcher, a Raeford man, was ordered to pay SI 1 1 . 17 for bad checks written to the North Carolina Department of Motor Vehicles, Tucker's Grocery, Western Auto, Customers Service, Hardin's Grocery and The Pantry. The man was also placed on one year unsupervised probation, records say. David Reed Holland, 35, a Shannon resident, was fined $25 after being convicted of trespass ing on the property of Junior Hug gins, records say. Lisa Jenkins, 25, was ordered to pay $22.50 in restitution after be ing convicted of assaulting Lisa Poe, records say. Jenkins hit her causing cuts and bruises, according to warrants. She was also placed on two years unsupervised probation. Elaine Lowry was also placed on two years unsupervised probation and ordered to pay $22.50 for assaulting Poe, records say. A warrant for the 35-year-old woman's arrest show the incident occurring on May 22. Don Legget was given a suspended sentence after being convicted of writing a bad check to Convenient Food Mart, records say. The 59-year-old man was also ordered to pay $28.70 in restitu tion, records say. Burmer McPhatter, of Raeford, was also convicted of writing a worthless check to Convenient Food Mart, records say. The man was given a 30 day suspended sentence and ordered to pay $25 in restitution, records say. David Bruce Dollar, of Wagram, was convicted of driving while his license was revoked on June 9, records say. The 19-year-old was sentenced to one year suspended for three years unsupervised probation and fined S300, records say. John Bailey McKoy, a Red Springs resident, was also con victed of driving with his license revoked on June 8, records say.
