Lee received the award through Burlington Industries recently an nounced program to recognize and honor employees who develop patentable inventions or trade secret innovations. Called the Burlington Innova tion Award Plan, the new program is designed to reward employees with cash payments and special recognition for innovations that are unique and potentially valuable to the company. The Patent review Committee of Burlington administers the new award program. Lee stated that he was "not ex pecting any kind of reward and was taken by surprise" when he was presented a check for $300 by Plant Management. "I don't deserve all the credit. Ralph White (Production Manager) and Shuford Pennell (Cloth Depart ment Manager) should get a lot of the credit too." . ? . Front Burner (Continued from page 6) refrigerate.
