^^frCLoJL Wright-Barker marry Miss Tammy Sue Barker was married to Thomas Theodore Wright on August 24, 198S in Randleman. The Reverend Jackie Ray officiated at the double-ring ceremony in the New Salem United Methodist Church. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas A. Barker of Randleman. She is a graduate of Randleman High School and Guilford Technical Community College in Jamestown. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Wright of Raeford. He is a graduate of Hoke County High School, Fayetteville Techinical Institute, and John Wesley Bible College in High Point. He is presently employed as a Youth Pastor and Music Director for the Bannertown Wesleyan Methodist Church in Mt. Airy, N.C. The church was decorated with brass candlelabra placed on either side of the altar table. Ferns were placed around the candlelabra and around the two baskets which con tained purple tiger lilies, white gladioli, and white roses. The Uni ty candle and the communion tray were placed on the altar. A lighted brass candlestick was placed in each window of the church and decorated with violet flowers and green ivy. Organist Allyson Witcher and pianist Jackie Lowdermilk provid ed wedding music. Mr. and Mrs. Tim Sessoms sang two selections, "Together" and "Together Forever." Mr. Sessoms sang "It Seems I've Always Loved You," and Mr. Ralph Trogdon sang "The Wedding Prayer." Escorted by her father, Mr. from Madilyn now at Howell Drug Co. Main St. Raeford, N.C. Thomas A. Barker, the bride wore a floor length gown of white sum mer satin with embroidered bodice. Her veil was covered with illusion. She carried a bouquet of white roses, violets and purple tiger lilies mixed with ivy. Honor attendant was Miss Ellen McAden of Randleman. She wore a tea length gown of fresh violet taffeta. She carried a lighted can dle deocrated with violet flowers and white streamers. Bridesmaids were Miss Lisa Charles of Greensboro, Miss Kan di Ling of High Point, Miss Lisa Barker of Climax, and Mrs. Kathy Warner of Raeford. They wore dresses like the honor attendant and also carried lighted candles. Child attendants were Miss Jamie Warner of Raeford as flower girl and Master Joshua Ray of Mt. Airy as ringbearer. Best man was Daniel Wright of Raeford. Ushers were Johnny Wright of Raeford, Robbie Young of Hope Mills, Paul Worsham of Chatham, Va., and Tim Sessoms of Greensboro. The men wore black tuxedos with lavendar ties and cummerbunds. The bride's brother, Spec. 4 Jimmy Barker of the U.S. Army, lighted the candles' prior to the ceremony and presented programs to guests. The bride's register was kept by Mrs. Johnny Wright of Raeford. The wedding was directed by Mrs. Audrey Wood. The bride's parents were hosts for the reception following the ceremony. A rehearsal dinner was held in the church fellowship hall on the evening before the wedding and was hosted by the groom's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Daniel M. Wright of Raeford. The dinner was prepared and served by Mrs. Lela White and Mrs. Debbie White of High Point. After a short wedding trip to the mountains, the couple will reside at 210 Mayberry Apts., Mt. Airy N.C. Sister Patty makes profession Sr. Patty McCulloch (right) of Rae ford's St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, recently made her religious profession at the Motherhouse of the Mission Helpers of the Sacred, the community of women religious with which she is associated. Their central administration and training center is in Towson, Maryland. Officiating at the ceremony was her brother. Father Larry McCulloch (left), a Maryknoll priest from Costa Rica.
