Helping hand
CPAL electricians lend a helping hand to the festival by installing wir
ing to connect the stoves for the ,\orth Carolina Turkey Cooking Con
test finals. CP&L crews also worked to insure that the proper power
was available for Main Street vendors and musicians.
Memorabilia
Raeford-Huke Chamber of Commerce Manager Beverly Pasternak ,
recently returned from statewide television appearances, sits among
some of the items the festival committee will have on sale during
Saturday's Festival activities.
Residential note
Hoke County Tax Supervisor Dale Teat's home has a festive turkey
strutting on his door to accent this fall scene.
Finishing touches
Ratford Municipal workmen put the finishing
touches on a Main Street utilities repair which inter
rupted cleanup efforts for the festival. City workers
| have spent long hours cleaning streets, pulling
weeds and picking up trrsh in an effort to make
Raeford shine for festival visitors. Municipal crews
also face the problem of cleaning up after the event.
