Reaves plays for Forces champ team Staff Sgt. Walter B. Reaves, brother of James and Robenia Reaves of 200 Hatley Ave., Aber deen, was a member of the Army team which placed third in the 1985 Armed Forces Men's Softball championship tournament at Pope Air Force Base. He was also selected for the 1985 Armed Forces Men's Softball Team which played in the Na tionals Tournament, Birmingham, Ala., on Labor Day weekend for the world softball title. Reaves is a medical specialist at Fort Hood, Texas. Retires Willie R. Mc I. aurin has recently retired from the Raeford Plant of Burlington Industries. Mc I. aurin has been employed with Burlington Industries for I? years. McLaurin began her employment with the company April 16, 197} as a Warper Creeler in the Preparation Department and has spent her entire tenure in that area. Prior to her retirement she worked as a Warper Tender in the Preparation Department. She was presented a retirement Bible by Plant Management for her loyal years of service. Willie resides in Raeford and she plans to just enjoy her retirement.
