Share Your Christmas drive meeting goals of Hoke needy The Raeford Woman's Club's Share Your Christmas has been a big success this year and has ex ceeded drives of the previous four years, according to Clara Pope, one of the co-chairs of the event. The fifth annual drive is meeting the special needs of area families by providing them with food and childrens' clothing. "This year has been an even bet ter year than the previous four, especially with things for children." Pope said. "We put an emphasis on children (his year." Donations exceeded S2.000 with S800 coming from the United Way, and the rest from organiza tions, churches and individials. Members and friends of the Raeford Woman's Club have volunteered time to sort the clothing and package the food. "Over 275 families have been helped this year, and that includes over 700 children," Pope said. Baskets of food and bags of children** clothing were distributed to families at the T. B. Lester Building on December 19. In a letter addressed to all in terested individuals from co-chairs Clara Pope and Caroline Shook, the women said."By you and I sharing our material goods and resources.
