Stanton, 65, cited poor health and being injured this summer in an auto accident while on his way to investigate a wreck. Lamont is 37. The bride is the daughter of Karen and Michael Smith-Hendricks. The groom is the son of Tina and George Anthony Latham. The couple met at Hoke County High School and began dating in May of 2010.
