Prevent Yam Breakage
The Herr Conical Ring is designed for spinning
and twisting of woolen, worsted, nylon synthetic
and blended yarns of all types. With this
application it will give 100% satisfaction in
every way. This ring is constructed of durable
drop-forged steel and mounted in speoial die-cast
holders to accommodate any spinning and twist
ing rail conditions.
Due to the conical shape it produces a different
action of the traveler running on the ring. The
traveler force is outward aud downward with the
traveler riding on the top and conical face of the
ring, leaving the bottom foot of the traveler free
to act as a compensating factor to the yarn.
This, naturally, reduces breakage of the yarn
and produces higher quality with increased pro
duction and reduced waste.
Ingenious design features built into the Herr
Conical Ring provide scientifically controlled
lubrication. Oil of the correct physical char
acteristics is carried from the reservoirs by
capillaries to positions on the top surface and
conical surface.
The traveler distributes and rides on this micro
scopic oil film. Its life is increased. Such a
small amount of oil is used that clean yarn is
maintained and maximum spindle speeds achiev
ed. There is NO REWICKING of the Hen
Conical Ring.
