We don't profess to kuow what this committee is ex pected to do, and we are not as sliming the roll of dictotor, but wo want to call attention to just a few thing that need to be looked alter right now. First, is our cemetery, the place where our loved ones are quietly resting beneath the Rod, while over them weeds, broom hedge and sprouts are growing. Next, we want to call attention to streets and fidewalks. Wheti you get olT Main street you w ill find grass and weeds growing on thn sidewalks until it i in.K)hsi bl for a lady to pass over them without getting her shoes and skirts soiled and maybe ruined. Front street ha become almost impassible and is being largely used as a co.v pastuio. The flower garden and grass pl ttt ut the deiKit. instead of a thing of beauty, as it was intended to be, lias become almost eyesore. We hoithis committee will organize. If they have not already done mi, and do something for the uplift of our town and the betterment of conditions in general. IMPORTANT TO INCOME TAXPAYERS.
