"WHIRLING JOE"
A widow, whose husband had died
some months previously also died
and when she came to the pearly
gates, asked to see her former hus
band.
"What's his name?" s*id Saint
Peter.
"Joe Smith," replied the widow.
"You'll have to give me some bet
ter identification than that," said
St. Peter kindlyl. "How about his
last words? We classify new arrivals
by their last words on earth."
"Well," she replied, "just before he
died Joe turned to me and said,
'Mary, if you ever kiss another mfen
I'll turn over in my grave'."
"Oh, sure, I know him," said SV
Peter, "we call him 'Whirling J' f
up here!" 1
WE WELCdmE
CAREFUL BUYERS!
The furniture buyer who is interested in getting the UTMOST
in VALUE and QUALITY for every dollar he spends—he is
the man we are glad to see.
The keener the competition the greater glory if The Eagle
wins AND THE EAGLE always wins, when VALUE is the
consideration.
If the buyer obscures his own vision with TERMS rather than
VALUE—or on the matter of prices without strict regard for
QUALITY .. . then we may lose.
»
But—Remember —when VALUE, based on QUALITY is the
FINAL consideration ... THE EAGLE LANDS THE ORDER!
