Misses Frances Freeman, Mary Freeman, Eu genia Reid, Frances Gillespie, Mary Ruth McCraw and Sidney Jones, Jr. Misses Lula Betsy Folger, Mary Cooper and Rachel Ruth Wolfe are spending their spring vaca tion week with their parents. They are students at N. C. C. W. at Greensboro. The elementary grades of the Dobson school gave a very in teresting program in the school auditorium last Thursday. This was the first program of com mencement, taken from the first to the sixth grade. Rev. R. L. West delivered a very forceful sermon from the Baptist pulpit Sunday evening. There will be a community Easter service at the Methodist church next Sunday evening. Miss Kathryn Polger spent Sunday here with her parents. She is on the social security staff in Rockingham county, with headquarters at Reidsville. An Easter "Bake-Sale" will be held in the club room next Sat urday for the benefit of the Wo man's Club. Mrs. Stanley did right much in modern repairing on her dwelling in Dobson.
