Those from here attending the quartette singing at Pleasant Home church Sunday were Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Sneed, Mrs. Lucy Chappell. Mrs. Taylor Gabbard and Misses Lucille Martin and Lucille Marion. Mrs. Emmaline Cockerham has returned to the home of her son, Hardin Cockerham, in Jonesville, following a visit of several days with friends here. Mrs. Cocker- ham, who is 92 years old, is very active and enjoys visiting with friends. Mrs. Dora Wood, w,ho has been taking treatment at Hugh Chat ham Memorial Hospital for sev eral days, is much improved, we are glad to note. Rev. E. G.
