C., Wednesday morning on account of the death of Mrs. Dwight Bailey's and Miss Amer son's brother, Thomas Amerson, who passed away early Wednesday morning from a brief illness. Mrs. Cockerham Honors Husband on Birthday Anniversary Honoring her husband on his birthday anniversary Mrs. Tyre Cockerham entertained at an en joyable dinner Saturday evening at their home north of Elkin. The affair came as a complete surprise to the honor guest. A color scheme of pink and green was carried out in detail in the appointments of the dinner and in the decorations of the cake, which held the significant number of candles. Covers were placed for thirty.
