Reece filled the pul pit Sunday morning at the Bap tist church,and preached a most sermon, ® Mr. J. T. Pardue entered Hugh Chatham Memorial hospital last week and underwent an appendi citis operation. His friends wish for him a speedy recovery. The Jonesville P.-T. EAST ELKIN The men's council of the East Eikin Baptist church held prayer service at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Laffoon here Tues day night. Mr. Elmer Elleredge, secretary of the council, led the service by reading the sth chap ter of James and made a wonder ful talk on the scripture. Others also made talks.
