The W. M. U. of the Arlington
Baptist church met at the home
of Mrs. James Dunman Friday,
with nine members and two visit
ors present. The meeting opened
with the hymn, "How Firm a
Foundation." The devotionals
were in charge of Mrs. Johnny
Sears and an interesting program
on "The Eternal Purpose of God"
was presented. The closing pray
er was by Mrs. S. S. Swaim.
The hostess served tempting
refreshments during a pleasant
social hour.

spent Tuesday in Durham, at
tending to business matters.

Lucille Rose has returned to her

hospital.
