NBAS FROM THE
The students of Dobson high
school held their junior-senior
banquet last Wednesday evening
in the Woman's club house un
der the supervision of Mrs. W. E.
Hancock. The menu was pre
pared by Mrs. Prank Freeman,
home economics teacher. Covers
were laid for 120. The tables
were very attractively 'arranged
in the Easter motif, green, yellow
and purple predominating in ev
ery Retail. Large bowls of jon
quils, narcissi and hyacinths, un
der the glow of green and yellow
candles centered each table, and
spring flowers and Easter decora
tions made a pretty setting
throughout the club room.
The program was as follows:

was program leader, the topic of
which was "Steadfast in the
Homeland." Miss Holbrook in
troduced the subject with a
splendid talk on "Early Witness
in the Homeland." Mrs. DeWitt
Sparger and Mrs. John Lewellyn
contributed to the program. Mrs.
Fowler gave a lengthy personal
service report. After a business
meeting, refreshments were serv
ed, with suggestions of Easter.
