noon of last week. And they were
the supper guests of Mr. and Mrs.
J. B. Bell Thursday evening.
Mrs. J. H. Burchette and son,
Jimmy, spent a few days in Maid
en the latter part of last week
visiting friends and relatives.
A "Tom Thumb Wedding" will
be presented at the Ronda school
gymnasium on Wednesday even
ing, December 11. The cast in
cludes members of the primary
grades. The wedding promises to
be very interesting and well worth
the small admission charged.

Mrs. Robert Adams returned
last week from the Baptist hos
pital in Winston-Salem where
she has been receiving treatment
for some time. We regret to note
that Mrs. Adams' condition is not
much improved.

visit her maternal grandmother,
