J., April 9 Vice Chan cellor Reed this morning admitted in evidence the order book of the Ameri cau Tobacco Compady, in the case of a leged conspiracy for the restraint of trade as institu ed by the Attorney General. Josiah Brown, secretary of the company, read from the books he entries wherein New York and Philadelphia jobbers were shown to have been cut off by the American Tobacco Company because they dealt with the National Tobacco Company, and that they ba re instated when such dealings with the latter company ceased Discrimination was also shown against the Boston Cigar and Tobacco Company and A. R. Mitchell & Co., of Boston These concerns had been pushing the sale ot cigarettes, wnicb was an alleged infringement upon the American com pany manufacture.
