Mr X. Jackson and Mr. Ernest Lee wrre boating. Mr. Jackson noticed a little streim flowing from the side of the bank and they rowed up to It to' se cure drinking water, and to their sur prise discovered that it was oily. So Mr. Jackson secured a pint bottle of the liquid and sent it to the State chemist at Raleigh, to be analyzed. Yesterday he received word from the chemist that the liquid was 90 per cent petroleum.
