El lington to receive bidti and recom mend some lire alarm system for Grepnville, so last week those gen tlemen reported tiiat they were ready to submit bids from two concerns, and Mayor Janies immediately order ed a call nu'eting of the Hoard for last night. At this meeting it was decided ti purchase the tJamewell fire alarm system, of Chicago, at a cost ot about forty-three huudreil dollars.
