We are authorised to say that Easter services will be held at St. Agnes Catholic church tomorrow by Rev. Father Charles, the paitor. Not less than two persons lost portions of their fingers at the Wood rofle Carpenter Shops here within a week past. This U sharp practice. About fifty blacks, from Liberty, Va., passed through this morntng to Winston as tobacco factory hand, saying their wages would bo more in Winston than at Liberty, Rev. W. G. Hamilton, the Methodist Protestant evangelist, just from a meetingat Columbia Factory, where there w ere over 60 conver sions, went up to Winston on a visit to his family this morning. One of the linemen who were engaged in removing wires on the poles on Sixth Avenue, N. Y., was caught in the wires and hurled to the ground, a distance of forty feet, and ki'led.
