"One of the most masterly and
eloquent sermons ever heard in this

says of the baccalaureate sermon
preached before the pupils of the
Danville College for Young Ladies,
last Sunday night, by Rev. Dr. Tu

just such a sermon before the pupils
of G. F. College a year or two since,
and those who were privileged to hear
it c,an easily believe that the Register
doesn't exaggerate. -

An Accident. Rev. I. R. Ball
of this city, received a dispatch yes

by some means, not stated, broken
her arm. By reason of the severe
illness of his eldest daughter, now at
home, Bro. Ball found it impractic
able to go over to Edgehill, and
leaves the patient there to the care of
Bliss Randolph, assured that every
needed attention will be giyen to re
