While I have iieen a citizen of
nth Carolina all r"rt life, and am
a iualitied voter of the State. I have
not been in Haywood County a .-ulli-cietit
length of tune, the four months'
ie-iilenee, the law recpinc s, to en
title me to c.te. However, I listed
my nropertj m said county iluring:
the month of May and am a tax
payer. I will have to pay my parti
hi leafier of any ta levied to build!
and maintain the ho.-pital should the
vote of the people be. favoi able. j
If I court! vote I would gladly vote
"For Hospital Bonds" a- I sincerely
believe the sale of the old site and
hospital building, and the building
and maintenance of a new andup-to-date
hospital, i- for the best interest
of all the people of Haywood County,
which is now mv home and permanent
residence.
Briefly, I believe a new hospital is
needed, and the movement for the
same is wise and humane; I lielieve
also it is to the finuncinl interest of 1
the people to build and maintain .t.
because the money for hospital bills j
would be ketit in Haywood County'
instead of going to Ashevillc, in Bun
combe County. j
Oftentimes, too. a hospital in our,
