Ballentlne, S. C Mr. XT. B.
Bouknlght, ef this place, cave the
following account of his use of
Thedford'a Black-Draught.
"Just after I married I had indi
gestion. Working out, I got In the
habit of eating fast, for which I
oon paid by having a tight, bloated
feeling after meals. This made me
ery uncomfortable. I would feel
stupid and drowsy, didn't feel, like
working. I was told It was Indi
gestion. Borne one recommended
Black-Draught and I took It after
meals. I soon could eat anything
any time.
"I use It for colds sad billons
jaess and It will knock out a cold ,
svnd tarry away the bile better and
quicker than any liver medicine I
lute ever found.'
Bating 'too tut, too much, or
faulty chewing of your food, often
causes discomfort after meals. A
pinch : of Black-Draught, washed
. down irtth a swallow of water, will
help to bring prompt relief. Bloat

breath and other common symptoms
of Indigestion have disappeared
after Black-Draught has been taken

When we hear a lot about the win.
ders of the past, at a period when
the family washing 'required two
days of hard labor, when the old
wood stove or coal furnace kept
someone busy shoveling in fuel and
carrying out ashes, when the lamps
had to be filled and cleaned every day,
toast made over hot coals which
scorched one's face, hot water for a
bath heated in a teakettle or a wash
boiler and the curling iron covered
with soot in a coal oil lamp, it is time
to be thankful for the conveniences
which electricity and gas have put
nto the modern home.
SURPRISE SUPPER.
On Thursdav evenimr last friends of

placed daintily upon a long dining

WHAT MY NEIGHTBOR SAY
Is of Interst to Waynesville Folks.
When one has had the misfortune
to suffer from backache, headaches,
dizziness, urinary disorders and other
kidney ills and has found relief fr m
all this sickness and suffering, that
person's advice is of untold value to
friends and neighbors. The following
esse is only one of many thousand'.
but it is that of a Waynesville resi
dent. Who could ask for a better
example?
Mrs. W. R. Davis, 1248 Killiah St.,
says: "1 think Kidney trouble was
caused from a cold settling in my
kidneys. My back ' ached and whan
I bent over a sharp pain shot through
me like a knife, I had blinding
dizzy spells, too, Mornings I was
tired but and lame and could hard'y
get , around. I had nervous head
aches and my kidneys didn't, act right
at all. I used Doan's Pills until I
was entirely relieved."
OVER FIVE YEARS LATER, Mrs.
Davis added: VI use Doan's occa
sionally, as a preventitive and . get
the best of results."
