The News considers itself fortunate in being . able to publish these articles, . as Mr.Tike is well known to many of ita readers, who already recognize his genius. : COUNTY COMMISSIONERS MEET. The County Commissioners met August 3rd, all being present. The following business was trans " acted. Ordered that : J. C. Powell's property be re leased from $2,550 to $2,050. Mrs M E U'omack's property be reduced to $2,000.. Levi Bishop's property, in Cdl- umbus township be reduced to - $300. Elizabeth Toney be paid $2.00 H per month for support of son. E J Bradley's property be re duced from $3,400 to $2,800. County Treasurer pay $75. for bridge across Green River on road ; from Dalton's place to Big Level ' Tia B T Wilson's when said bridge is completed and receiyed by the - proper authorities. J B Bonam's bondsmen be re-: - leased and that he does no .more business as constable in White O&k township until he renews his bond. ' Specifications for a bridge to be built over Green River at R M Foster's were drawn 1 up and bids are called for elsewhere, in this i issue.
