That maneuvering and misery :an be avoided because spots and itains can be removed at home, so Mrs. iBritt, assistant Home Econo mics Agent, told the eleven Early Morning Chft members when they met Tuesday afternoon at the club house for the October meeting. To ielp assure success in removing spots and stains, she offered the following suggestions: act prompt ly; identify stain correctly: use proper solution; test solution on hidden part of article; work care fully; and observe all. Miss Slocum, the new assistant agent, was a guest of the club. During the business session, the club voted money for pecans for hospital patients at Camp LeJeune and refreshments for the mentally retarded class at Rose Hill. Following the meeting the mem bers enjoyed a salad plate served by the hostesses. Ray Price To Be in Kinston Friday, Nov. 2 Through the efforts of the Deep Rial and Pink Hill Volunteer Fire Departments country and western entertainment will be brought to eastern North Carolina on Fri day, November 2. On that night Ray Price and the Cherokee Cowboys, from Nash ville's Grand Ole Opry will ap pear for a four hour show and dance in Kinston, sponsored by ?the two volunteer groups. Ray Price has been one of the big names in the recording fielif: | for many years. Twenty-five of his hits have made the national -: top-ten record charts. Such hits"' j as "Crazy Arms," "City Lights,*' "Heartaches By the Numbers,'* f and others have been recorded ; by Ray Price. His current hi j' Sj is "Pride."
